Create a new McDonald’s website that can exist for the next 5 years.
It has to be able to be updated frequently and hosts different McDonalds campaigns throughout the year.
It has to showcase the latest website technologies.
Ideas and execution
We created a new style guide and design that is neutral enough to host multiple campaigns.
The site’s design and typography is consistent when viewed with different browsers, it works in both Flash and HTML view.
It’s by far the easiest to maintain and it is robust enough to be updated frequently without breaking the structure and the design.
It’s using the latest web technologies such as font replacement for good typography, dynamic content and Google Map API for the store locator.
A massive corporate site is never an easy thing to build, it has to be maintainable, a medium to present creative ideas and visually pleasing. It’s build with Flash AS3 and lots of dynamic HTML.
